Hong-Kong, one country two systems

China has 2 special admministratives regions: Hong-Kong 香港 and Macau 澳門 . They don't take part in People's Republic of China. They both have their own money, political system, multi-party system, policies.

Hong-Kong used to be a British colony from 1842 to 1997, now they obey to one simple concept: "one country-two systems". That allows Hong-kong to stay independant and in that way to be a worldwide financial pole totally independant from mainland China. The Governer of Hong-Kong is Leung Chun-Ying.

Our trip in Hong-kong:

Hong-Kong, one country two systems

On the top, the picture is Hong-Kong Island. I took it from the boat to return to Kowloon island. Hong Kong is divided in several islands. The financial island: Kong-Kong Island where you can see the symbol of Hong-Kong: the flower that you can also see on HK$ money. (bottom right in the picture) When we were in Hong-Kong for 3 days, we also tried the typicall food: Dim-Sum, for breakfast. It is sweet outside and salty inside, a bit like mushrooms and pork inside. It's really good and also really strange. (bottom left in the picture).

It was an amazing week-end, but the weather wasn't with us. We went to the Peak in Hong-Kong Island but we couldn't see a lot because it was really cloudy. Otherwise you can see all Hong-Kong. What we also missed because of the weather is the show of all buildings in HK island ; every night they organized a light-shows, with music.
