Welcome to Jinan University, Guangzhou 歡迎到廣州

A little bit of history: 

Jinan University has been created in 1906 by Qing Government in Nanjing… More than 100 years now ! Since the opening a lot of things have changed. They moved into different places like Shanghai in 1918, they merged with Fudan University and Jiaotong University in 1949, they opened Medical school and Economics between 1978-1979. Since that date, they obtain different recognition for the different schools and open new like School of Art, journalism or communication. 

What about Today?

Today Jinan university has two campus in Guangzhou, one in Shenzhen and one in Zhuhai, more than 50 000 students on the first one of Guangzhou, and about 12 000 international students including Macau, Honk-Kong, Taiwan students ; 25 colleges. 

In our different classes, we met a lot of people from Hong-Kong and Macau. We are also in class with some people from south asia, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia. In our international economics class, it's a melting pot: Bolivia, Indonesia, Colombia, France, Ecuador, America.
